DAY 01 : ARRIVAL CHENNAI

Welcome. On arrival you will be greeted & provided with warm assistance by our representatives to get transferred to the hotel. Check in at the hotel. Chennai - Capital of the south-eastern state of Tamil Nadu, Chennai is one of the four major metropolitan cities in India. Today, it is hard to believe that a place that was till 1639 just a small fishing village would become such an enormous and beautiful city. Situated on the shores of the Bay of Bengal, Chennai is perhaps the most peaceful and green metropolis in India. Chennai has a number of attractions for the tourists to see. One of them is the beautiful Marina beach, where the blue waters of the Bay of Bengal mingle with the golden sands. DAY 02 : IN CHENNAI

After breakfast city tour visiting, Kapaleeshwarar Temple :A masterpiece of Dravidian architecture, this ancient Shiva temple, is the biggest in Chennai . Fort St.George : Located on the seashore near the harbour, Fort St. George was built for the East India Co. in 1960 AD. Marina Beach : the pride of Chennai is the second longest beach in the World and has a wide sandy foreshore. Other attractions are Fort Museum and St. Mary's Church and Little Mount Shrine. DAY 03 : CHENNAI – KANCHIPURAM - MAHABALIPURAM (144 Km, 4 Hrs)

After breakfast depart by surface to Mabalipuram enroute visit Kanchipuram. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Kanchipuram Welcome to the city of thousand temples. Kanchipuram district is situated on the north-eastern coast of Tamil Nadu, adjacent to the Bay of Bengal and Chennai city. Visiting darshan in Kamatchi Amman temple, Varadharajar temple and Ekambareshwar temple, one of the pancha bootha stalam. Mahabalipuram: The temples of Mamallapuram, built largely during the reigns of Narasimhavarman and his successor Rajasimhavarman, showcase the movement from rock-cut architecture to structural building. DAY 04 : MAHABALIPURAM - CHIDAMBARAM (161 Km, 3 Hrs 44 Min)

After breakfast depart by surface to Chidambaram, On arrival check in at Hotel. Afternoon city tour visiting Chidambaram: Chidambaram Natarajar temple or Thillai Natarajar temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Natarajar (Shiva) as the Lord of Dance in Chidambaram from Tamilnadu in Indian State. The Natarajar temple has ancient roots, likely following the temple Architecture tradition that is found all over South India from at least the 5th Century. The Surviving Natarajar temple has a Structure that is traceable to the Early Chola Dynasty. Chidambaram was the Early Capital of this Dynasty and Shiva Natarajar was their Family Deity. DAY 05 : CHIDAMBARAM - RAMESWARAM (395 Km, 6 Hrs 41 Min)

After breakfast depart by surface to Rameshwaram, On arrival check in at Hotel. Rameswaram is connected to the mainland by the Indira Gandhi Bridge, which is regarded as one of India’s engineering wonders. The town has many temples dedicated to various Hindu gods and goddesses. It is considered one of the most important pilgrimage sites for the Hindus. Sacred for both Vaishnavites and Shaivites, it is said that no Hindu pilgrimage is complete without a visit to this holy city. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 06 : RAMESWARAM - MADURAI (174 Km, 3 Hrs)

After breakfast depart by surface to Madurai, On arrival check in at Hotel. Madurai is called the temple city of India, which makes it one of the most visited religious destinations of southern India. Madurai is also the modern industrial city of the state. The political capital of the Pandyan and the Nayakan dynasties, Madurai has also been the centre for learning and the heart for South Indian culture and tradition for the last 2,500 years. The magnificent gopurams of the Meenakshi Temple are the first and main attraction of the city. Spread across six hectares of area, the temple is situated in the middle of the town. Apart from the massive Meenakshi temple, the Mariamman Teppakulam, Tirumalai Nayak Mahal, Gandhi Museum, Thirupparankunram, Azhagar Koil and Koodal Alagar Temple are some of the other important sites to visit in Madurai. DAY 08 : MADURAI - TRICHY (136 Km, 2 Hrs)

After breakfast depart by surface to Trichy, On arrival check-in at Hotel. Tiruchirappalli, universally known as Trichy, is a sprawling but extremely enjoyable city with two extraordinary temples – one perched high above the town on a rocky mount – and many travelers find Trichy more enjoyable than the clamor of the more renowned Madurai.
