Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime journey to the sacred Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar, revered by Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Bon followers. This spiritually enriching yatra begins in Kathmandu, with visits to iconic temples such as Pashupatinath, Guheswori, and Budhanilkantha, setting the tone for a divine experience.
After completing visa formalities, the journey continues to Nepalgunj and Simikot, followed by a thrilling helicopter ride to Hilsa at the Nepal-Tibet border. Upon crossing into Tibet, travelers proceed to Taklakot (Purang) for acclimatization before heading to the sacred Lake Manasarovar. Here, pilgrims perform rituals, take holy dips, and immerse themselves in the serene spiritual ambiance of this revered lake.
The journey then advances to Darchen, the base for Mount Kailash Kora, a three-day trek around the mystical peak. The trek begins with a walk to Dirapuk Monastery, offering awe-inspiring views of Kailash's north face. The most challenging day involves crossing the Dolma La Pass (5,636m), the highest point of the trek, before descending to Zuthulpuk, known for its meditation caves. The Kora concludes with a return to Darchen, marking the completion of this sacred circuit.
Retracing the route, pilgrims journey back through Taklakot, Hilsa, and Simikot before flying to Kathmandu, where they can reflect on their spiritual transformation.
This pilgrimage offers breathtaking landscapes, sacred rituals, and a deeply fulfilling experience. With expert guidance and seamless logistics, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is an unforgettable journey of faith, devotion, and self-discovery, blessed by Lord Shiva.
